Sorry for the very bad quality. Very bad weather was the main cause of this. But still some nice traffic.

Wonderful shots Yengels!! Hope you would've enjoyed spotting different colours in CMB. These days CMB indeed getting bussier! also ferry flights to indonesia, australia and new zealand do stop over in CMB for crew rest and refuelling. I spotted once Fiji's ATR appeared in CMB once.

Hi umedhah, Do you have more info of the NZ aircraft was seen in CMB? It must have came to CMB in the ferry flight before it delivered to New Zealand.

          Enjoyed it a lot .
I did not found a lot of info on that ZS beech. The only thing I have found out is that is was a delivery flight from Brisbane, Queensland AU. New owner is found to be 'Mesiglo' although I could not confirm this.

Pictures were taken at following google maps location:
          Negombo - Aluthepola Rd
          Aluthepola, Sri Lanka
          7.208111, 79.900122

          Kind Regards
          Yves

                    • Should be seasonal or a charter service. They used to operate seasonal winter services in 2011 and 2012 as well. They had full flights......... Other than PS, two other Ukrainian airliners operated to CMB during those days - WindRose Airlines (7W) & Aerosvit (VV). It s nice to see they are coming back to CMB.

According to Fr24, PS3825/6 flew Kiev-Colombo via Alain onboard B737. Do you know why they had terminated the Cmb flights in the past.. if they had performed well on Cmb route? How is the yield between Ukraine and Colombo?

                          • As I said, all of them were operating only during winter. PS & VV operated direct services onboard B767 whereas 7W operated an A321 with a stopover somewhere. I assume they couldn't continue the service because of the internal political struggle in Ukraine. Sakith can you remember the stopover 7W was using?
