Cmb-ixm schedule confusion..............

Very Happy to see the uploaded schedule BUT There are some confusions between both Inbound and outbound flight Schedules. Madurai to Colombo schedule showing on MONDAY, WEDNESDAY & FRIDAY where as CMB to IXM showing SUNDAY, WEDNESDAY & FRIDAY . ie There is no inbound flight from CMB to MADURAI on MONDAY as per this schedule . How come this possible? Is there any mistakes in the schedule up loading?
Does it goes (MJ305 from CMB to IXM ON SUNDAY) somewhere else after reaching Madurai and return back on MONDAY to IXM towards proceeding to CMB ??????????

Mihin Lanka is planning schedule changes to Madurai. MJ originally planned to start the flight from 29th Oct, but was cancelled. Although service will be starting from 28th Oct, reservation is available by the end of August 2012.Originally posted by sajutoms View Post

SriLankan Engineering has informed that 4R-ADB completed its engine test and all set to fly on the 22nd July as UL553. 4R-ALJ is currently undergoing it's seat/cabin fittings and IFE installations. 4R-ALJ's maiden revenue flight expected in end of August 2012 - However STD-Date not yet confirmed. Here are the 4R-ALJ pictures which were taken by our member Sakith.

Yes. KF had succeeded from TRZ without onward traffic. There is not much different for IXM. More over it has tourism and medical tourism traffic. But onward traffic is more than O&D traffic.Originally posted by Banuthev View PostComment

With the leases running out on these aircraft (are they all A340s??) has UL planned on acquiring new planes, inducting them in now. Because to use the currently outdated aircraft (cabin conditions wise alone) for another 6 months-to a year is very disastrous to the brand. People are already blasting UL with hatred for sending out such poor/old aircraft based on the cabin conditions (poor seats, inflight system), which are frankly terrible, and I know this because I had first hand experience recently. Things are made worse by our competitors offering better services. UL is driving passengers away.Comment

Aerosvit Shelves Planned Seasonal Resumption to Colombo in W12
As per 23JUL12 GDS inventory display, Aerosvit appears to have cancelled planned seasonal service resumption on Kiev – Colombo route, from 28OCT12. The airline previously planned to operate twice weekly service with Boeing 767-300ER aircraft. Reservation for this route on/after 28OCT12 is now closed.
Previously planned schedule:
VV175 KBP1500 – 0310+1CMB 763 36
VV176 CMB0440 – 1010KBP 763 47
