On-time is calculated based on the time the cabin door is closed and ready for departure, never mind if the push back takes 15 minutes and congestion all adds another 30 minutes or more .. and same for arrival. If the flight is 6 hours, if the plane is above destination in 6 hours, but ATC holds them for an hour .. still it is considered on time arrival.Comment

Flight Connections are one of the big problem for GF loosing the business. Reportedly, GF is shrinking their services further from this month as Beirut 10 to 6 Weekly, Chennai 14 to 10 Weekly, Muscat 28 to 20 Weekly, Bangkok 7 to 6 Weekly, Frankfurt 12 to 7 Weekly, Khartoum 11 to 7 Weekly, Paris 9 to 7 Weekly, Manila 11 to 7 Weekly and Rome completely cancelled.
