SpiceJet might not park their Q400 in CMB.
They might fly to IXM and park there or fly onward to HYD or BLR and park there.

Glad to hear JAL considering to fly to Colombo. JAL operate on NRT-CMB-MLE-NRT would be a better idea that will cater Maldives tourists + Sri Lankan passengers.
@Sajith - Do you think Colombo-Tokyo route has sufficient demand to operate two airlines (SriLankan and JAL) ? Presently SriLankan is flying four times a week flights on Colombo-Tokyo route. I heard SriLankan is looking to add an additional service/s to Tokyo.

@Sakith - If I am not mistaken 4R-ADG still flying on 245 seats also it has a layout issues on Business class. Does UL has plans to send 4R-ADG for seat re-configuration when 4R-ALH comeback to service ?
I heard 4R-ADA,ADB,ADC will be returned back to the lessor in next year. Any progression on wide-body aircraft order ?
Boeing might help arrange acquisition of second-hand aircraft to bridge the three or more years it would take to deliver new 777s, The Nation said.

Then again wasn't UL mainly looking at short/medium haul flying in the short term? There are a couple of A332s being stored so maybe UL will pick up some of them? But they mainly have P&W engines. On the plus side they are ex Kingfisher A/C so the interiors will be ready to go, bar a few customisations.
