Funny - UL's time table CMB to PEK is showing Mattala and BKK as technical stops. To my knowledge, technical stops are mainly for fuel (and in some cases crew change).

First of all, Mihin should be dissolved and their operations should be absorbed in to that of UL's.
Secondly, why on earth do they want to acquire Boeing aircraft when UL is fully equipped to maintain Airbuses?
(I have nothing against Boeing, and they are fantastic aircraft, but for Mihin, it does not make sense at all to re-invent the wheel)
Thirdly, long-haul operations? They really should be smoking some serious hallucinogens
