Interesting and looks like some decent decisions. These management changes must be due to the new CEO taking over. Does anyone inside UL have any opinions on these management changes (including the new CEO)? I think any widebody order will have to wait until the new management takes over.

As far as I heard, this is a refurbishment of 1000 square feet of the existing terminal for use by transit passengers. source : mrpanini.

Hopefully there are some new shops and cafes in it. The current transit area really needs more shops and activities in order to entertain transit passengers (an issue even raised by the AASL Chairman). And the old floor tiles dont match the new marble floor tiles found in the concourse area. This also applies to fittings such as signs. It is important to have one consistent modern look throughout the airport.

Also does anyone know whats happening to the Airbus A320 Mihin has on order? (as per its Wikipedia entry). Im hoping theyll lease at least 2 more A320s this year in order to facilitate expansion. They cant really make much profits or market impact with their current fleet of 2 aircraft.

None on order per my knowledge. ABM and ADG are apparently yet to make first revenue flights. ADG will be mainly operating on UL509.

                              • Air Lease Corporation (ALC) and SriLankan Airlines have entered into lease agreements for three new A320-200’s, one of which delivered in May 2011, and the remaining two aircraft delivering in October and November 2011 on 12 year leases.
