Thai Airways to replace Thai Smile service to Colombo effective 26th October 2014. Currently Thai Smile operates 6 weekly on board A320. As per new changes Thai Airways to operate 5 weekly but on A330-300 starting from Winter 2014.Comment

The capacity increase to A330 is only up to 15 Jan 15. I believe most prob it will go back to A320 after that... the A330 capacity may be to cope with AUS/NZ rush during dec... the AUS/NZ summer rush has meant that after 1 Dec SQ is operating 5 fights a day between SIN -MEL and SIN-SYD 3X a week and 4 flights a day during other times... Thai Airways doesn't have A320 in the fleet on the other hand Thai Smile going to switch the operations from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi to Bangkok Don Mueang effective October 26.
