Wow it's too early for delivery flight it just came from CHR after paint on 16 Feb and so far done only two acceptance flights was on the 21 & 25 Feb. Has it had it's new seats in the both business and economy class? Why did they cancel the delivery flight previously planned on 28 Feb? If it's going to be delivered today then what time 4R-ALN is going to depart from Toulouse Airport ? As always the delivery flight will be operating as UL1206 - FR24 Status Link.

SriLankan said to the media they ordered six A333s but there are seven A333s have been allocated in the A330 production list. I suspect one of the seven A333 must have been ordered for presidential entourages by the previous gov. I believe now present gov has cancelled the order of the presidential aircraft and replace the order with aircraft tools. SriLankan took delivery of first A333 in Oct 2014 and second A333 in Dec 2014. So there are four more A333s to be delivered to SriLankan Airlines between March and December 2015.

ILFC and SriLankan Airlines have signed 12-Year lease agreement for three A350-941s which are MSN52, MSN55 and MSN63 are to be assembled in Toulouse and deliveries starting from 2016. Remaining four of the A350-941s are to be inducted to the airlines’ fleet by 2023.

SriLankan Airlines has finalised the lease agreement for four new A321NEOs to replace 4R-ABK, 4R-ABL, 4R,ABQ and 4R-ABR.

Mihin Lanka has't yet took delivery of A319 which is over 10 years old airframe. I heard delivery crew got the visa to go china for the collection of A319 but there are some delays due to chinese new year or something.

SriLankan Airlines wins ‘Best Value Leisure Product’ at OTM Mumbai

SriLankan Airlines, was recently awarded, ‘Best Value Leisure Product’ at the OTM, Mumbai. The 2015 chapter of OTM Mumbai – the biggest ever travel trade show in India was held the Bombay Convention and Exhibition Centre with participation of over 850 exhibitors from 50 countries.

SriLankan Airlines looking East for future expansion

SriLankan Airlines head of finance Yasantha Dissanayake, speaking at CAPA’s Airline Fleet & Finance Summit Asia, said (02-Mar-2015) the carrier is looking East for future expansio, stating: “So many people now come to Sri Lanka as tourists.” Mr Dissanayake noted Singapore is a key market and flagged China as an expansion markets. But Russia is more challenging with the carrier's Moscow service being suspended from Mar-2015.

I doubt 4R-ALN will be delivered before 14th March 2015. I think the aircraft now undergoing cabin and seat fittings.
