Sometimes they paint them before sometimes they paint afterwards when it comes to A330s. I've seen many painted wihtout engines. Those 330 painted in Chateroux are primer on the way out. But I think to some extent it is about optimizing the paint halls and engine fitting bays in TLS.

All A380s however are painted in XFW, so that is why they are always primer in the initial flight photos.
Most TLS built A320s are painted in TLS prior to flying up to XFW for cabin configuration, but some leave in primer mostly to Chateroux or Bordeaux for paint before continuing to XFW.

            • It looks like QR has cancelled the plan of operating B787 service to Colombo. I can't see QR B787 operating in July as already planned.

What happened to 4R-ADG. Don't see it flying. Is it being retired after 4R-ALO enters service?

How long this lease return check takes for A340? What do you normally check on aircraft before return back to the owner?

Lease return check usually takes upto 3-4 months and occasionally upto 6 months ...it depends on the requirements demanded by the owner of the aircraft... Almost every serialized part must match with the serial number it had upon arrival, when returning...so replacing components takes time.
