I think the airlines which are member of Oneworld normally paint the one narrow body and one wide body aircraft in oneworld livery but I agree with skybuck729 ! UL took delivery of couple of A321s after they join the oneworld alliance. That time they would've received one of those A321 with oneworld livery. I am quite sure they will be receiving brand new A330-300Es without oneworld livery and they will be re-painting one of the A333 aircraft in oneworld livery in the Colombo hangar. UL is loosing money because of the poor management decisions.

By the way, 4R-ABO has returned to revenue service with oneworld livery today and it flew on the CMB-KHI-CMB route. Any pictures of 4R-ABO with oneworld livery ?

                  Hello
Both aircrafts are undergoing lease return tasks at the moment and ADA is almost done. 99% of ADA tasks are now completed and most probably it will leave our soil in the coming week.
ADG's having a hard time here. It was taken into final checks like 2 months ago but in the midway of the check it was decided to take it back to the service because there were concerns about our new 330s delivery getting late. However considering many factors again it was later decided to take it out from the fleet and continue the lease return. So its final checks had some bumpy periods but now running smoothly. But it will take months to conclude because we have to build it to the level of new aircraft..

                  Cheers

@RAHALROXZ Does it mean ADG is going to another airline? Not getting Scrapped?

No umedha it will be scrapped for sure ... But most of the parts will be taken out and used in other aircrafts. Only the structure will be fully scrapped.

Are they short of aircraft? I can see UL504 landed in CMB at 12:50 then UL868 departed at 14:04.

I think so. since we out sourced the 3 - 340s we are short of AC's until ALO and ALP arrives.

No umedha according to the lease agreement we have to re deliver the aircraft in the same condition we got it initially. Basically we take the aircraft to a condition it had 10 years before. Thats why these lease check take months to conclude. There is something called serial number matching too. We have to send the aircraft with parts it had originally at the time of leasing. We sometimes swap and replace components during usual checks but in lease check we have to trace all its original parts and refit to the aircraft. Honestly we are sending back an almost brand new aircraft to scrap haha .... So the owners resell all its serviceable parts and scrap just the fuselage.
