Yeah, but the silly thing, as I mentioned before, that, it is next to impossible to obtain Philippine visa .. unless SL Govt can convince the Philippine Govt to allow visa on arrival - I wonder what will fly .. the hordes of Mid-eastern fliers will prefer non-stop, with Emirates, QR, GF and all firmly entrenched in Manila and their home base ..Originally posted by Banuthev View Post

I usually don't trust Daily News articles. This is the same newspaper (and probably same reporter) that said UL will fly to YYZ daily and the same one that said UL launches KBP with 3 flights per week. We'll see when it happens.
MNL > CMB > Mid East is quite a detour and there is a lot of competition that are either better or cheaper. MJ will need to be very creative to make this route work, specially if there are visa issues like the ones ecurelix mentioned.The opinions above are solely my own and do not reflect those of my employer or clientsComment

From 24 December 2011, SriLankan Airlines is going to increase the flights to Tokyo Narita from 3 to 4 weekly. The new flight operate on Saturday from Colombo. (Source : GDS)

Hi,
We are going to take Srilanka flight to Maldive,
and make transfer in Colombo.
Do we need security inspection during transfer flight?
Acutally we are planning to have baby and we worried about the radiate ray which may bring hurt to baby.
Do you have manual inspection?or special channel for us?
