Out of these eight, four aircraft are due this year and the balance four were to come during a span of six years. “We settled a wet lease for one aircraft due this year and there’re three more to settle which we are in the process of negotiating."

Well It looks like TK is not interested in leasing their A350s. Its funny Sunday Times previously reported UL close to wrapping up a A350 deal with TK.

Only 3 was due this year and 1 next year. Any idea of the MSN which has been sub-leased to some leasing company?

I'm very much surprised QR didn't codeshare on CMB-TRZ flight. At the moment there is no flights operating directly between Doha and Trichy.

Probably being transferred to the UL fleet maybe?
UL could do with a two more A321's and leaseback ABK and ABL, the two oldest A320's currently in the fleet

Nothing of substance in this article - just more talk.

                        • Absolutely no way any A350 is coming imho.

Nothing about who gets saddled with the $$ Billions in debts and forward liabilities.

Previous report about a "foreign partner" is complete BS - nobody will touch this.

Yes. it's true. There are no UL direct flights to CDG & FRA from W16. Is UL going to sell the slots at CDG & FRA? So LHR is the only European Gateway for UL.

Rumour has UL already sub-leased the first A350 (MSN52) to other operator. It makes sense Airbus has now painted the MSN52 all in white. UL now negotiating on sub-leasing the other three A350 (MSN55/60/171).

Another rumour : 3 x A330-200s (ALA,ALB,ALC) are going to retire from UL fleet beginning of 2017 and they are planning sub-lease 3 x A330-300s (ALL,ALM,ALN) to other operator.

Even if they take the delivery of MSN55 & MSN60 this year they can't continue CDG & FRA with only 9 Widebody Fleet. 3 x A330-200s (ALD,ALH,ALJ) and 4 x A330-300s (ALO,ALP,ALQ,ALR) are going remain in the UL fleet. Before It was expected the delivery of MSN171 to UL in end of 2017.
