SriLankan Airlines from 15JUL17 is splitting Colombo – Bangkok – Hong Kong operation, currently served 4 times a week. From this date, Hong Kong will become nonstop service, operated by A321 aircraft. For Bangkok, overall service currently shows expansion from 14 weekly to 25 weekly, including 4 weekly onward service to Guangzhou.

SriLankan Airlines starting mid-July 2017 plans to boost capacity on Colombo – Jakarta route, currently served by Airbus A320 aircraft. From 15JUL17, this daily service will be operated by Airbus A330-200, while schedule remains unchanged.

SriLankan has now hired a British re-marketing firm to help lease out its surplus aircraft. These include the three A330-300s that were due to have gone to PIA. The other is an A330-200 that SriLankan was forced to hire from AerCap Holdings NV as part of the settlement for cancelling four A350s ordered by the previous government.

If MRE now has a J Class cabin, it must have been re-configured, recently because it was a single-cabin aircraft when it was with MJ (and all online records of this aircraft still show it as having 180 Y seats, only).Originally posted by MalaysiaMustafa View Post
