@ Umedhah - A new A320 - MSN4694 was planned for the delivery in June 2011 as airbus's aircraft deliveries now have only reached upto 4636. An A320 assembly takes about a month. Therefore we can expect the delivery of MSN4694 on the already planned date. MSN2569 is due for last week of March-2011 as same as MSN381.

As you know MSN2569 is going to allow UL to resume COK and to expand capacity on BAH and MCT. Does any body know how MSN4694 will be utilised ? Any chance of de-link the current DXB-KWI and KUL-SIN ?

@longranger the original article has been updated. Plus, while fully copy pasting an article from another site causes Google to penalise this forum, it is also illegal to do so. I am alright with that, but better to copy paste only excerpts the next time.
@skyteam you should ask from UL skeds planning dept ;-)

Any talk of UL starting its service to ZRH and AMS? These were popular routes before 2001 and specifically good connections to North American destinations with much preferred transit facilities than LHR or CDG.

              Did Emirates grabbed these routes?

@ Kflyer - If I am not mistaken UL will operate DME with 3 weekly not 4, as per Amadeus. Is UL531 flying with 2nd Freedom rights ? because it has not listed in the CMB-AUH flight schedule and it does not seems to be it has local rights between AUH-DME ?

Oman Air is increasing Colombo Flights from 5 weekly to Daily, effective 1st June 2011. WY flights are WY371 (MCT-CMB-MLE-MCT) using A332/3 on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. WY374/5 (MCT-CMB-MCT) using B73J on Wednesdays and Sundays. WY381 (MCT-MLE-CMB-MCT) using A332/3 on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Source.

Yes, now showing three weekly. They will likely have 5th freedom ex AUH. The timings are due to be changed anyway hence discrepancies.

                    • @ Kflyer,

Thanks. Why UL's long-haul expansion has delayed to W11/12 when MSN381 join in the fleet in April 2011 ? Is it because of the three A343s are likely to go under refurbishment until Dec 11, as you mentioned in A.Net ?

UL567 in W11 stays in CDG for only an hour. Does not it too short for long-haul flight ?

DE is increasing CMB flights to 2 weekly, from FRA, in W11/12. Operates on Tue & Sun. Wish if DE restarts CMB flights to MUC, DUS, TXL ...

I believe 343s are due for checks. Yes, too short, probably due to unavailable slots, hence the added 20 mins buffer to flight time.
