UL seems to have got two crucial things right:
1. I read them saying that they want to operate daily flights to all their destinations, as opposed to half hearted 2-3 times a week flight. This will not only provide more flexibility to passengers, it establishes their presence in a stronger way and helps them utilize their station staff better.
2. They have said that they want to fly point to point, as opposed to having stopovers mid-way. This is already shown by operating direct flights to Shanghai (dumping the stopover in Bangkok) and Kuwait (dumping the stopover in Dubai).
Hopefully, they will improve on their on-time departures and join Star Alliance thereby establishing themselves on a stronger footing.

Yeh they seem to be cementing their position ATM with additional frequencies. Good news for all!
Doesn't look new to me.

SriLankan Airlines launches easy payment scheme
An exciting new offer from SriLankan Airlines will make travel abroad even more affordable to all their customers. With the introduction of an easy payment scheme, passengers have the option of paying for their ticket with credit cards, in installments of three, six, twelve or even upto twenty four months at their convenience.
SriLankan's latest destination will be Zurich, with a thrice-weekly service that commences on December 23.
