Do you have photo of Aeroflot B777 from CMB? Aeroflot is using B777 to CMB only for this month but switching back to A333 from next month.

They'll probably use 320neos because they send their 320neos for maintenance most of the time. Nice to see them make an appearance here as passenger then.

Good to see IndiGo resuming BLR flights…

GoFirst (GoAir) were to start flights from BOM and BLR as well but plans were halted due to COVID

Would it be feasible for them to commence ops too?

Air Seychelles is going to connect Colombo with nonstop flight. Doesn’t this route have enough demand for passenger and cargo for nonstop flight? How did SriLankan perform with Seychelles route before termination?

                SEZ : 22:05 - CMB 03:50+1 - HM-262 - A320neo - Tu. Sa

It’s great to see Air Seychelles is launching CMB route!

                • Air Seychelles to fly to Colombo, Sri Lanka

Air Seychelles is pleased to announce that it will add service from its home base of Mahe, Seychelles to Colombo, Sri Lanka with twice weekly flights commencing in June. The inaugural flight will depart Mahe on 20 June 2023 at 22:05 arriving into Colombo four hours later. The flights will be served by the airline’s Airbus A320 Neo aircraft in a 12 business class and 156 economy class configuration. Air Seychelles’ Chief Commercial Officer, Charles Johnson explains, “We’re very excited about this opportunity to link Seychelles with Sri Lanka. A destination in its own right with excellent tourist, medical and trading opportunities which all Seychellois will benefit from. In addition, our upcoming partnership with Sri Lankan Airlines will allow travelers to purchase a single ticket for travel beyond Colombo to other destinations in Asia. This service will drastically reduce current travel times and at prices much lower than currently seen in the market.” The Colombo service will also offer over 20+ connections through a future partnership with Sri Lankan Airlines. Once fully implemented, this will allow for a convenient one-stop connection to numerous destinations in India, Bangladesh, and top tourist spots such as Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Tokyo as well as highly requested Australian cities namely Melbourne and Sydney. Sandy Benoiton, Acting Chief Executive Officer remarks “This new destination will reinforce our regional service and provide enhanced connectivity to the south-east asia region and beyond. This is a high potential market and we look forward to see what lies ahead”. To celebrate the launch of the new flights, the national carrier is offering a special web promotion from SCR 6,800 until 25 April 2023, for travel from 20 June to 30 September 2023. Seats are limited and subject to availability.

                  • Seeing so many delays and PR disasters in UL, I wonder why the airline is keeping 4 new aircraft (plus 1 oldie) from flying.

Does anyone have an idea why there are many delays reported these days?

They don't look like so. Look at the covers on windshields and engines. These are indeed grounded (status: parked). UL CEO has confirmed 3 of them but in reality, there are 5 that are parked.

ANA was grounded since the bird strike in 2022 (last time I saw ANA back in this august, ANA,s both engines were removed and windshields were covered)
ALH is now back to operations
ABQ could be grounded due to pre-retirement inspections

I have no idea why UL grounded AND, ANE, in my point of view Sri lankan airlines doesn't utilize their A320/321 fleet like they did before the pandemic.
aircraft age-wise, newer narrow body jets are more cursed than older jets

Thank you very much for the update. My thoughts exactly. They aren't utilised as it was before. It's a shame, they are new and we are paying for them.
