      What war time controls still in place? Certain airstrips are closed for general aviation ?

        I still wonder why we don't have dedicated domestic terminal at CMB? We need to make it easy for the international passenger to transit for the domestic flights.

        Current setup is very difficult for the passengers : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=29dtxCJH0lQ

          Fitsair A320 4R-EXS back in service. Good to see all three Fitsair A320s are active.

            For training flights and all domestic scheduled / unscheduled flights must submit flight plans to airforce to obtain an ADC (Air Defence Code) before start up. This whole process is so complicated. Better to scrap this

                I suggest Apron Delta to use for domestic flights (turboprops and business jets) with a domestic terminal

                  21 out of 24 aircraft up and running, according to SriLankan Airlines.

                  it would take about two to three months for the three grounded aircraft to be made operational, as the airline was waiting for the manufacturer to send the required components.

                  Am i correct only 18 aircraft up and running not 21?

                    Hi Haleef, Any reason why UL wetleased EXR which is already with Fitsair livery? This is going to confuse the UL passengers. It makes more sense EXS with white color would've been wetleased to UL.

                        New direct flight from Armenia to Sri Lanka

                        For the first time there will be direct flights from Armenia to Sri Lanka. The organizer of the flights is the Armenian Sky&More company. Colombo-Yerevan-Colombo flights will be operated from October 20 once every 9 days.

                        Previously, it was possible to reach Sri Lanka exclusively by transit, within 14 hours. Direct regular flights will allow to reach Colombo in 7 hours and 50 minutes. direct flight times are adjusted to make the tour package more competitive, taking into account hotel check-in and check-out times. The presentation organized by Sky&More was personally attended by FITS AIR General Director Ammar Kasim, Aitken Spence Travel Executive Director Nalin Jayasundera.

                        The main focus of the Sky&More company is the implementation of new charter flights. It is important to organize author group tours, which will be different from the tourist options of the market.

                        Colombo to Yerevan- 10:00 - 16:20 - 8D246 - 7:50hrs
                        Yerevan to Colombo - 05:30 - 15:00 - 8D245 - 8hrs

                                LOT Polish Airlines flight LO6283 arrived today in CMB with 252 tourists from Praque. Does anyone know its arrival , departure times and frequency of flights?I heard Hungary is also going to begin direct flights to Colombo from Dec 2023. which airline is going to fly?
