    After re-registered as ALT, MSN 1060 was moved from the spot front of hangar to the one of the parking area for further testing. I think for the 3rd time the engines are turned on.

        Iran Airtour is operating today (18/10), same airframe as before EP-MDL. B99772, but to Mattala.

              ABM & MRE did test flights for almost an 1hr as UL8 on the 14 & 15-Oct. What was the reason?

                I believe UL1141/2 is a scheduled charter flight of some sorts, otherwise its unlikely for UL to deploy CMB-BOM-HRI-CMB route.

                HRI is not being used as a refueling facility is because of the lack of facilities there, unlike CMB, HRI does not have on demand facilities, which is a major reason I believe that most ferry flights go through CMB,or at least that's my viewpoint, please correct me if i'm wrong, thanks.

                    A Vistara flight (UK 131) from Mumbai to Colombo made an emergency landing at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) in Sri Lanka after receiving a bomb



                    Vistara makes an emergency landing at CMB due to a bomb threat, thankfully no explosives were found. 96 passengers and 8 crew members were on board, departing flight to BOM has been delayed for 4 hours and will depart at 7:00 PM IST this evening.

                    Airframe is VT-TVF.

                        Guys, seems like SpiceJet has cancelled their plans to operate to CMB this OCT, can't find their schedule to CMB on their website. Can someone confirm that they have cancelled it?

                            Air Astana is going to fly ALA-CMB 4 weekly flights from 16-Dec-24 to 24-Mar-25. By looking at below turn-around time. I guess the narrowbody would be used. Please correct me if i am wrong?​​

                            Days of ops - STA KC 167 - STD KC168
                            Mo - 14:10 - 15:25
                            Tu - 15:00 - 16:00
                            We - 13:10 - 14:10
                            Sa - 16:10 - 17:10

                            Any update on LOT to CMB this year?

                              Yeah, Air Astana usually deploys their A321 NEO on this route, as for LOT, no update yet sadly, but they will definitely be returning to CMB this W24, 787s will be deployed.

                              Also, i checked the Air Astana website and i am unable to find the flight, so can you also list your source please? thanks in advance.

                                SG didnt do a public announcement for the resumption of the route, it was just in their new winter schedule at that time, SG was gonna begin the route from OCT 27th 2024 to MARCH 31th 2025, I wonder why they stopped their plans to fly to CMB?​
