    ALN appeared earlier on FR24 and still parked in Apron Echo. I believe engineers are still looking into the tech-issue.
    UL606 to SYD cancelled as per airport.lk
    UL 503 was also cancelled on November 9
    Things not going well for UL last few days

      Any reason for the delay of A350s to EK?
      Ah yes, sorry for my mistake, i meant four daily flights not five. Thanks for pointing it out.

      EK's A350s are getting delayed due to supply chain issues i believe, they were scheduled to operate their first A350 flight this month but however they had to push it back to January.

        UL reported earlier this year all the neos will be returning to service by the end of 2024. Any progress in bringing back AND, ANE and ANF before the year-end?
        I am wondering, can A321NEO and A320NEO engines be used interchangeably? I think my theory is that they took the engines off 4R-ANF to fit onto 4R-ANB, but however, I'm not sure and this could mean that 4R-ANF is just going through a random C check.

        4R-ALH is still inactive, probably engine issues I believe.

        UL must recover these jets fast, Winter season is beginning soon.

          waves to you, WizzWaveSien and MAW2000 and the crew.
          They have slightly different models of engines though
          ANB=> LEAP-1A26
          ANF=> LEAP-1A32
          also, I think ALH was temporarily fixed(if that's a thing) to bring it back to CMB from ICN(if I remember correctly)
          and yeah, they need to activate their full fleet to accommodate the impending high travel demands for the upcoming holidays

              Hi, n863gt.
              Still no update of 4R-ALT, While appearing on a TV programme. Senior Manager of Aircraft Engineering Mr. Sanjeewa Dissanayake confirmed that UL will be adding a new aircraft to it's fleet this month and also that UL will be expanding it's fleet to 25 aircraft by January 2025, 4R-ALT is ready for collection and is sitting idling at TEV, interior and seats have been fitted.

              the other A330s will be added onto ULs fleet this year, probably during December..

                Thanks for confirming! It seems EK is still going to increase from 3 Daily but to 27 weekly from 2-Jan-25. New flight EK654/5 will be operated 6 weekly (exc wed) onboard B77W between 2-Jan-25 to 1-Mar-25. From 2-Mar-25, A359 will replace B77W for flight EK654/5 and will be continued operating 6 weekly.

                  By looking at current status of aircraft shortage, UL better make an arrangement for collecting ALT and other 2 A330s very soon. The cancelled flights due to aircraft shortage can cause loss of reputation for UL during the peak-season and will be expensive to wet-lease aircraft for short-term. Holiday makers won't be happy and be reluctant to fly on UL next time if the action wouldn't taken on-time.

                  Please correct me if i am wrong!

                    I believe supply chain issues are causing delays and shortages of critical parts, impacting maintenance schedules and leading to longer turnaround times. Airline like AC is planning to bring back retired aircraft like B763 to restore the schedule without causing flight delays.

                        According to a twitter video, a user said he spotted around 5 aircraft parked at the hanger, 2 of them being widebodies. He has also brought up this concern with UL.

                          Ah! thanks for the correction! I thought they wouldn't be operating the fourth daily flight from JAN 2 and that they would be postponing it to MAR 2.

                          Do you have any updates on TUI charter flights? heard from someone that they would be resuming their charter flights to CMB soon on their 787-8s and 787-9s from BHX, LGW, and MAN

                          No update on LOT sadly, it seems like they have postponed their plans to operate to CMB this winter.

                            Thanks for the video ! do you know when this video would've been recorded?
                            If i see the video clearly, i guess one A321neo (not sure ANE/ANF) and ALL, ALO parked outside. I believe the R1 engine is being changed on ALO as i see crane near by R1 engine. ALH is parked in the hangar facing outside with doors open. There is an another A330 parked inside the hangar (I suspect it's ALM). ALL used to be parked very inside the hangar few months ago. Good to see ALL outside and I believe ALL has done the checks.

                              This was video was recorded today on 4R-ALR from MAA-CMB as UL122.

                              Thanks for analysis, yeah, the plane inside of the hanger is 4R-ALM as i can tell, the last flight it operated was BOM-CMB on NOV 6th. Do you have a reason as to why UL would want to change 4R-ALOs R1 engine? and it seems like 4R-ALH is missing or is being parked somewhere else.

                              And I think 4R-ALL would return to service this week. But still can't wait to see it back..

                                I see kind of paint cracks in 4R-ALO. Is it normal?
