4R-ANE, 4R-AND and maybe even 4R-ANC/F. But not sure. 4R-ANF was taken out of service for scheduled maintenance as soon as 4R-ANC was back in the air.
As per updates from Haleef, 4R-ANE and 4R-AND are supposed to fly in the coming months, they are just waiting on engines as per this article.
So far, there haven't been any updates on 4R-ALT, does anyone have any more new information?

Today EY operated 77F to CMB as EY943 and outward flight is operating as EY9690 not sure where it's heading? SL lifted vehicle import ban from today. Notsure what EY 77F carried to CMB and carrying from CMB.

Any idea whats the fate of those WY 332/3s ? Will they return to WY fleet? Any possibility WY resuming direct flights to CMB? I see OV reducing CMB flights from 5 to 2 weekly in Feb25. Not sure why?

I see 4R-ALT visible on Google Map but not sure if its very recently captured by Google.

May be thats the reason Q2 wetleased BBN Air B73F to transport committed cargo on CMB-MLE from end of Sep to end of Dec24. May be Q2 carried some pax on ATR infrequently until termination. May be i am wrong.
Q2 did not wetlease BBN. It was a charter from another company, nothing to do with Q2.

Looks like QR will be deploying 77X cargo freighters to CMB on a weekly basis. (www.flightradar24.com/data/flights/qr8535)

Unlikely for those A330s to be returned to WY's fleet. They have completely ended operations on the A330 last April, These A330s will be staying with QR for now until more planes arrive to sort their shortage of aircraft after the dispute with Airbus over the A350 paint issue. Not Sure what's going to happen with the fleet, but will most likely be stored or someone else might pick them up.

                      • Thanks for posting UL's schedule for the next few quarters, Banuthev.
Its good to see frequency being increased to quite a few destinations.
It looks like the separate flights to CDG and FRA are again being combined to a triangular routing three times a week, but with an additional direct flight to FRA?
However it is disappointing to see that the weekend flights to LHR being dropped from April. Those flights were convenient for onward connections to North America since they arrived in the morning. The daily UL flights arrive in the evening, requiring an overnight stop if connecting to a North American flight, which makes it unattractive for most people.

                        • New Bangalore-Jaffna flights in the works

A delegation from Indigo Airlines met with Nandalalingam Vethanayagam, Governor of the Northern Province, last week to discuss plans for launching flights between Bangalore and Jaffna. The discussions, described as “highly productive” by both parties, mark a significant step in expanding air connectivity between India and Sri Lanka. Indigo, which currently operates flights between Chennai and Jaffna, is now preparing to cater to the growing demand for travel between Bangalore and Jaffna. The decision follows the identification of a substantial number of passengers traveling between the two cities, including over 25,000 annual travelers for pilgrimage purposes

                            • Per this article, the CFM56 engines on UL's A320s are to be overhauled by Lufthansa Technik. Doesn't SriLankan Engineering have the capability to do engine overhauls in-house?

                              • It has been decided to waive the landing fees for aircraft arriving at Mattala Airport.

This new decision has already garnered the agreement of six airlines to land their aircraft at the airport.

Mattala Airport has an annual passenger handling capacity of one million.

However, Deputy Minister Kodithuwakku pointed out that currently, only about 100,000 passengers use the airport annually. Plans are in place to increase this number to 200,000 within this year.

Additionally, Deputy Minister Kodithuwakku highlighted that the 17-kilometer-long security fence around Mattala Airport is in a state of disrepair. Steps are being taken to renovate the fence and ensure the security of the airport.
