Is Skyup still flying to HRI? Redwing still coming with one flight almost every day.
SkyUp still operating 6 weekly flights from VNO,RIX,TLL,WAW respectively, 737-700 operates this route via BAH. Will operate until the end of March.

FlyONE operates 1 weekly flight from RMO to CMB, via DWC. A321 operates this route. Will operate until the end of March. (Please someone confirm if dates have changed)

I even wondered flight number assignment of 8D...Will keep you all posted regarding the 8D's Summer Sked 2025.

Thanks for the update! Any reason why ACMI ops not going to happen with EY?

I see booking for RUH not yet open. Will 8D operate 10 weekly in total to DXB when it start 3 weekly CMB-DXB-RUH route? Does 8D have 5th freedom rights to carry passengers between DXB-RUH?

Guys, Any idea which airlines are currently flying between DXB-RUH route?

Seems like the reason is incompatible cabin interiors of 8D A320s with Etihad fleet.
Majority of workings, approvals, permits are still pending, lot more work to be done. 8D will not land at DXB as a technical stop, since 4R-EXQ has ETOPS, so 8D can fly directly to RUH.

Recently noticing QR deploying A350-1000 for CMB flights. Do you know which aircraft CX will use when it increase CMB flights from 5 to Daily from Aug25? Remember CX planned A359 to CMB before. Not sure why that not happened.
Hi everyone, seems like EK is delaying it's A359 deployment to CMB. Don't know as to why, checked EKs website with a dummy booking and still no A359 in their system. Emirates WAS supposed to start A359 operations from March 1st, but seems like they have decided agaisn't it.

As far as I am aware, CX will be still using the A333 on the HKG-CMB route. CX was supposed to deploy it's A359 to both MAA and CMB last year, but apparently due to supply constraint issues. They pushed it back, Theres a chance they will switch to the A359 or 77L towards the end of the year because of increased demand.

I remember EXQ didn't have ETOPS before so that means EXQ recently certified with ETOPS? Does both EXQ and EXR have 90 mins ETOPS?

Do you know lease expiry of 8D fleet?

UL is currently on the look out for B737, ATR, A330 and A350 aircraft.
MSN 1060 ferried from LETL to LPBJ in VP-CRQ Rego on the 07-Mar-2025.

                        Hi Banu,
I think i know the reason as to why MSN1060 was ferried LETL to LPBJ, Beja has MRO services (Supplied by a company called AEROMEC, a company within the Omni Aviation Group),since it supports Hi-Fly. Hi-Fly has used Beja as a location for aircraft maintenance, storage, and testing. Remember when Global Airlines A380 was flown from Dresden to Beja to receive it's final maintenance? Beja also has a Aircraft storage facility, which means that MSN1060 will probably either be stored or will be going for final maintenace before delivered to UL, since Haleef has stated that MSN1060 is probably cancelled due to structural issues, it's safe to say that it's probably due for storage.. Not sure though. Please correct me if I am wrong.
                        Thanks.

                          Hi Banu,

Could not get much info about lease periods of 3 planes of 8D, As far as I know, EXQ does have
90 min ETOPS, Not sure about the EXR, should have ETOPS, but EXS does not have ETOPS.

                          • Too bad UL Decision making is lethargic... We should have grabbed on those HongKong Airlines A333 that were brand new and idling at TLS without being taken delivery. Should have sorted our fleet issues till 2030 when we could be in a better position to place fresh orders. Now those A/C converted to Freighters. Very Sad

If I recall it correctly, we discussed new cabin configuration were done on MSN 1060. Do you know if the UL seats & cabin have been removed from MSN 1060 after order cancellation?

There is MSN 1600 (10 Yr old A330-343) parked in LPBJ and did air test on 05-Mar-2025 after registered to Aergo Capital. Is UL leasing MSN 1600?

I wonder MSN 1060 ferried to LPBJ on the 07-Mar-2025 for the purpose of transferring Cabin and Seats to other aircraft (probably MSN 1600)?

                                Hi Banu,

Sorry for sudden step in to this conversation,

                                As I stated earlier, MSN
1060 was supposed to deliver to a LCC, with all economy Cabin configuration, UL finance already paid the security fee for the aircraft, and Cabin needed to be changed as per UL colours and configs, thus materials were sent to the lessor for the cabin modifications but, there is an issue with cabin separation since UL needs both J and Y classes, and lessor informed regarding structural issues on cabin modifications. And as I got info, UL new board decided to give up on MSN 1060 (So, we can say MSN 1060 will not join with UL) and already transferred security fees to MSN 1037. (Confirmed news)

UL engineering has sent cabin floor carpets to the lessor for MSN
                                1261 A330-243.

No info or even idea or gossip on MSN
                                1600.
