UL is better than these but will soon become the same if steps are not taken to professionalise it and the only way to do that is either fully privatize or another JV like they had with EK.

So this is what happens when Politicians run an airline
I am still wondering about the revenue numbers of MJ to JKT (and do they fly to MNL ?) as well as a lot of their exotic destinations ..
Clergy should be more sensible when making their demands, because politicians are not being worshipped, but clergy are and that level of respect comes with responsibilities.
Imagine the clergy from other religions taking a cue from this and making similar requests!

Recently I came to know that not only ministers or their families, but various people like political appointees to various institutes/their families get very cheap tickets, what they call as government rates on UL. They get these rates for their personal family trips too. Probably a source closer to UL can provide us more info on how much this is affecting UL's financial losses.

Very Happy New Year to all my buddies !!!
I wish to inform everyone that I am planning to open a thread on the name of "Fleet Watch" in our Air Sri Lanka Forum , where you can find up-to-date details of all aircraft that registered under Sri Lanka Civil Aviation Registry CAASL. I would like to know what do you think of this idea before I start this thread.

Thanks.
