Investors, no airlines, seeking to buy SriLankan Airlines
Sri Lanka is likely to end up with narrow shortlist of about 'two or three' investors out of about eight who expressed initial interest, Deputy Finance Minister Eran Wickramaratne said.
Parties that expressed interest are currently engaging in due diligence to provide firm proposals, but there are no airlines among them, he told reporters.
Sri Lanka is just emerging from a default after large volumes of money was printed to target a narrow policy rate, in the pursuit of instant growth (potential output) and denying monetary stability to the people.
Is it BlackRock vs TPG Capital ????Last edited by Max; 01-11-2016, 09:07 AM.

There is no conceivable way for this Airline to ever make money. The only people making money are the Racketeers and their cronies.
Why would anyone invest in this?Always fly a stable approach - it's the only stability you'll find this business

SriLankan's first A320N will have MSN 7486. Assembly is probably not yet in progress.

Do you have any more information about whether the parts for assemble MSN7486 received or not? When will they start to assemble the aircraft?
