8D's 2025 Summer Sked, 1st Update briefly,

Effective from 30th March 2025 to 25th October 2025.

DXB - 8D821/2 Daily D1, D2, D3, D4, D5, D6, D7

MAA - No flights, cancelled, will be started again on Winter 2025

MLE - 8D921/2 D1, D3, D5, D7 and 8D923/4 D2, D4, D6

DAC - Not yet confirmed, 5 weekly can be changed up to 6 weekly

TRV - 8D951/2 D2, D4 and 8D953/4 D7

KUL - 8D721/2 D1, D5 and 8D723/4 D3, D7

Will keep you all posted with confirmed DAC flights and all timings, Thanks

Got an update MSN 1060 parked at LPBJ and so that means may be MSN 1060 is going to be stored at LPBJ until it find a new taker.

Have the lessor forward the materials to Naples for MSN 1037? will MSN 1037 join UL in UL-colors?​

Hearing news that MSN 1060 and 1037, both A330-343 are cancelled due to aircraft having too much structural issues. MSN 1261, A330-243 might turn up somewhere during May'25.
UL is currently on the look out for B737, ATR, A330 and A350 aircraft.

Thanks ! I see 8D have categorized the flight number by regions. 7 given to Far East, 8 given to Gulf, 9 given to South Asia.

I have emailed 8D to change the flight number for CMB-KUL flights from 8D721 to 722 and 8D723 to 724. KUL-CMB flights from 8D722 to 8D723 and 8D724 to 8D725. Not sure if its too late to change as the flight to KUL launch on 04-Apr.

Any reason why MAA flights cancelled? Any chance RUH happening in S25?

As far as I am aware, KE was supposed to start flights to CMB during June of 2023, after the repeated delay of UL flights to ICN. but it never went through for some reason, same with SV. Seems like SL is not really a priority for KE. But there was a rumor going around that KE is actually interested to start flights to CMB and MLE during W25.

When I was in Korea for work, I asked my Korean colleagues whether they preferred to visit Thailand or Sri lanka, most people said that they would prefer Thailand because of the increasing connectivity options, they said they didn't fancy taking multiple connecting flights to a destination when they easy access Thailand. Most of them said they travel to SL only to connect towards to the Maldives, quite a shame actually. Out of 10 people I asked who were good friends of mine (They travel frequently), only two of them have visited SL, others said they visited Thailand and the Maldives.

I actually travel on KE annually, on their 747s and 777s. I use ICN as a transit point before connecting onwards to ATL and LAX. KE is actually a very good alternative compared to AI or EK.

Haleef stated that both MSN(1060) and MSN(1037) are dropped by UL.
so, only MSN(1261) will join UL for now.
from which company will 1261 be leased?(currently belongs to caryle aviation partners AS IN planespotters.net)
will this be designated 4R-ALT or -ALU/V?

My Guess is, MAA is cancelled in Summer 2025 due to low pax demand, since most flights are filled with pax less than 50-60 range.
