    These days everyone uses stickers - that looks like what was done here.

    Was also done with CS-TFZ - stickers have been removed.

    Air Astana orders five Embraer E190-E2s
    Kazakhstan’s national carrier Air Astana has signed a contract for five new re-engined Embraer E190-E2 narrowbodies. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in the fall of 2018, the airline announced.

    Don't know about this but Biman has extended the lease of the A332 from WAMOS.
    Biman Bangladesh Airlines (BG, Dhaka) has extended an ACMI contract with Wamos Air (EB, Madrid Barajas) involving the lease of A330-200 EC-MJS (msn 265). Airline Route indicates that whereas the Bangladeshi carrier had intended to only use the aircraft for a brief June-July 2017 period, it has now chosen to use it for the duration oof the winter 2017/18 season running through until March 2018. Since the start of the contract on June 15, Biman has deployed the aircraft on regular flights to Sylhet, Chittagong, Kuwait, and Doha Hamad International.

    Emirates A380 in near miss- collision

    An Emirates Airbus A380, flying from Dubai to Mauritius last Friday, had been cleared to descend to 38,000 feet by Air Traffic Control on its approach to the Indian Ocean island, with an Air Seychelles Airbus A330, Flight HM54, having taken off from Mauritius travelling in the opposite direction. However, the crew of the Emirates plane, Flight EK703, which is configured to carry as many as 615 passengers, incorrectly stated that its altitude was 36,000 feet, according to the Aviation Herald.

    When it was realised that the Emirates plane was higher than previously thought, and with the Air Seychelles A330, which could have been carrying up to 277 passengers, flying towards it, a Traffic Collision Avoidance System alert was initiated.

    The two crews were able to see each other before the pilot of Flight HM54 turned a sharp right to avoid a collision. The two aircraft eventually passed each other at the same altitude but around 14 kilometres apart, according to the Aviation Herald.

    A380s days appear to be truly over

    Having seen TC of EK firmly shooting down the idea of A380plus in Paris, it does appear to be game over for the A380.

    First of all, it begs the question why Airbus did not consult their biggest customer by the longest way, EK, before embarking on the 'plus' study. It is humiliating to see TC rain on their parade so thoroughly and so publicly by refusing to add 11 abreast in Y and also to remove the Grans staircase at the front. Ironically, he was only interested in the new scimitar winglets featured in the A380plus package (for his existing frames), which Airbus DOES NOT offer as a retrofit.

    Secondly, looking at the genuinely outstanding A380 orders (the ones which are likely to be taken up in reality) only the 3 frames for ANA are the only ones that are not in any stage of production yet, if EK orders are excluded.

    Here is the breakdown:
    QR - 2 frames - Both in various stages of production
    MSN235 - Final Assembly Line in TLS
    MSN254 - waiting for body join in TLS

    SQ - 5 frames - All five in various stages of production
    MSN243 - outfitted in XFW (Should be delivered shortly)
    MSN247 - outfitting in XFW
    MSN251 - Final Assembly Line in TLS
    MSN253 - body join in TLS
    MSN255 - parts built

    Of the outstanding EK frames, 5-6 appear to be stored in TLS and XFW in different status of readiness, but all already built.

    Thirdly, the EK orders. Now TC mentioned in Paris that EK will take up the 100th frame by October 2017, which is definitely good news for Airbus. At the same time he mentioned that EK will NOT take any A380s in 2019 and 2020.

    Throw in to the mix his comments last month that he sees DXB will handle an absolute maximum of only 115 A380s, and his comments this week that the UAE government is looking at some form of merger between EK and FZ and this will effectively delay EK's move to DWC by three years (up until 2025-2030) I think it is clear that EK may not be interested in taking up at least 25 of the last order of 50 RR powered aircraft.

    Currently EK has 142 on order of which 90 GP7200 powered and 5 RR powered frames have been delivered. (They had an order for 90+50+ and agreed to take up 2 frames orphaned during Skymarsk bankruptcy)

    At least 10-12 of these remaining are also in various stages of construction, so in reality we are left with just about 10 totally un-bulit frames for EK.

    With no orders during PAS and absolutely no interest in A380plus from other airlines, it does appear that the sun is truly setting for the A380. It is a shame, because as a passenger, for me, it is the most comfortable aircraft in the air at the moment.

    Since May 2016, Scoot and Tigerair have been working to integrate reservation systems, flight schedules and connections, conditions of carriage, check-in counters and call centres. Those integrations have since been completed.

    Come 25 July 2017, we will be putting the finishing touches to the integration by merging the two airlines to operate under a single brand. With the merger, Tigerair will operate under the Scoot brand, but maintaining the designator code, TR.

    This merger is part of our long-term growth strategy and to enable a more seamless travel experience for all our guests.

    As with all mergers, we’re aware you’ll have some questions, so we have prepared some Q&As to address some of your key concerns.

    How will the merger affect my Tigerair flights?

    1. Flight Schedules

    Although the Tigerair brand will be replaced with the Scoot brand, your flight schedules (departure/arrival dates and times) will remain unchanged, i.e. your flights will depart as scheduled.

    Guests connecting on any Scoot flight will receive a separate email over the next few weeks (either directly or through the travel agency where you made your booking) to inform you of your updated itinerary with the new Scoot designator code (TR). If you have not received the email notification by 23 Jul 2017, please contact our Call Centre

    2. Check-In

    If you are departing on or after 25 July 2017, please look for the Scoot check-in counters at the airport. Web Check-in for eligible guests and flights may be also performed at FlyScoot.com.

    3. Aircraft/ Fleet Types

    With the merger, Scoot will operate two different fleets of Boeing 787 Dreamliner (existing Scoot fleet) and Airbus 320 (Tigerair fleet repainted into Scoot livery). Some of our networks will be served by both fleets, so if you have a preference to travel on either the Boeing 787 Dreamliner or Airbus 320, please ensure you make the right flight selection.

    As you can see, Bahrain has restricted Qatari aircrafts to only use a single route to inbound flights and only another single route to outbound flights. Now it's actually the only two air routes qatar has to outside world.

    According to this Saudi Arabia has revoked the air license leading to Qatar Airways flying longer routes to avoid Saudi air space.
